Riteway Meat started processing for local farmers 45 years ago, it was our focus than and remains our focus
today. We are a custom/game/retail processor inspected regularly by the Oregon Department of Agriculture and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). We follow their strict guidelines of sanitation and take pride in our exceptional records of inspection.
Our process is done with special attention to details and instead of your typical "butcher" cuts, we cut all orders "restaurant style"; well trimmed with more boneless cuts, NO SURPRISES WHEN YOU OPEN YOUR PACKAGE OF MEAT!
All of our processing is done on site, this allows us the ability to monitor and maintain the quality our customers have come to expect. We have strict polices and procedures in place to insure the integrity of each order, i.e.
1. All carcasses MUST be tagged with owners name before entering the building.
2. Only one carcass is allowed on the cutting floor at a time.
3. Each order must be complete before starting another.
4. From carcass to basket, the owners name is with their product at ALL TIMES.
